Valkyrie Adventures Logo

Posted on April 6, 2020September 24, 2020 by Kata Brubaker

This logo was designed for my side project, Valkyrie Adventures a travel & homeschool blog selling related apparel. I chose this name as it appeals to the nordic viking in me. The logo practically made itself with the natural shape of the V&A together, making that quintessentially curvy hour glass silhouette. The wings made the perfect addition as they represent both the Valkyrie iconography and the freedom intrinsic in travel and living a an unconventional lifestyle.

Interior Design Logo

Posted on February 12, 2014January 12, 2015 by Kata Brubaker

When Beth got in touch with me, she was very excited about her new Interior Design business venture. I visited with her in her beautifully furnished home and over a cup of tea, plans were made for not only a new website, but a logo and a social media strategy.

Using her name as the business identity, Beth requested a logo made out of her initials, which could hopefully be made to look like furniture. It is lovely working with other creative people, she already had the concept, so I got to narrow down my focus and produced 3 different logo’s for her to choose from.

The final product is polished and classy, just like the lady herself.

Beth wanted a logo for her new Interior Design venture, wanting to use her initials to look like furniture.

I really enjoyed working on this logo, playing with the concept of interior design and architecture depicted with the name.
